Chelsea and Brazil defender David Luiz requires surgery on broken nose

David Luiz: Chelsea's Brazil defender carries on playing with injured nose
David Luiz will undergo surgery after suffered a broken nose during Brazil's latest match in the Confederations Cup on Wednesday.
The Chelsea defender sustained the injury in a collision with his Brazilian team-mate Thiago Silva during their 2-0 victory over Mexico.
However, the 26-year-old expects to be available for Brazil's remaining matches in the tournament, which ends on June 30.
He faces an operation in early July and Luiz told Chelsea's official website: "Yes, my nose is broken, but that's part of the game.
"Now I'll have to wait until the end of the competition and undergo surgery to fix it."
